Panama Futbol

We are having a blast watching Panamanian futbol with the locals.  We usually get to Totos early to scope out a good spot.  The fans in Panama are very dedicated to their futbol team which makes it so much more fun.  The game started at 1 and the place was packed with business men and women taking "a break from work" aka the rest of the day off.  Like I said.... dedicated fans!!! Portugal ended up winning but the party lives on....
 Panama vs. Portugal

Represent!

We found a local tournament!  San Francisco vs. Chepo

This field is in the heart of the city.  $2 entry to see the local teams play...later it was televised
Crazy fans light fireworks in the stands

Two minutes after this picture was taken a huge fight broke out between San Francisco and Chepo.  I have never seen so many red cards given out in one game!!!

Bocas Del Toro, Bastimentos and Lee's visit

The bus ride to Bocas
We arrived at 7am after an all night bus ride...this sign did not help us find our way

Leanna, Andrew and I rented bikes and visited the local beaches

We rode our bikes to the cave which is suppose to be a tourist spot.....this was sooooo scary. This was Andrews favorite activity,  Lee had fun screaming at the bats and I stood outside and watched!
Barco Hundido was an amazing local bar on the water.  We had some cervazas on a bunch of unsteady docks overlooking a sunken ship.  The local woman who made us street tacos earlier that day said this was her second home.  We understand why!!!!!

Enjoying a salsa dance

Amazing beaches!

Leanna and I rented a surfboard....we had a rough start haha
DONT GO LEE!! ITS TOO BIG!!!!
                                                                    Three-Toed Sloth
This slow moving animal is not afraid to be seen...He welcomed us the second we got off the boat.  The permanent smile on their face, their long furry arms and gental demeanor will make anyone fall in love.

1. Im thirsty!
2.  Dont worry this is easy to open..only need one shot
3. 30 min later....ahhhhh

Lee now understands the beauty of the Canal

Costa Rica

The road to La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano.

Mountain Paradise
This amazing hotel was the perfect start to our Costa Rica trip. We went ziplining , found snakes all over the property and swam in the hot springs from the Arenal Volcano.

Delicious Manhattan

Creepy
Crawler

We pulled off the side of the road to find natural hot springs from the Arenal Volcano. This was fortunately not a major tourist spot so the place was left all for us and a couple locals.

Jaco, a great surf town.  Unfortunately we got what seemed like fatal bug bites. We managed to join the nightlife scene and had a great time.

There is nothing better then a fresh fruit smoothie
Manual Antonio
Most beautiful beaches in the world

Cicadas....This loud insect is all over Panama and Costa Rica

Milo Bekins Bar (Our search to find Richards old time buddy is a story tooo long to tell)

Montezuma
This was our favorite destination in Cost Rica.  We enjoyed a great day snorkeling at Tortuga Island, met some amazing people and rented ATV's  to visit the beaches of  Malpais.
